Byron is the southern edge of where we travel, about an hour down the M1 from the Southern Gold Coast. We take on decks, fencing, door and screen work and maintenance in Byron Bay, Suffolk Park, Sunrise Beach and Ewingsdale, and we book it in full days or grouped runs so the travel makes sense.
Byron housing runs from the timber beach houses of Suffolk Park and Tallow Beach, through the apartments and cottages around Jonson Street and Wategos, to the acreage and new builds of Ewingsdale. Holiday lets are a huge part of the town and they generate the steady changeover work that suits us: screens, sliding doors, deck oiling, paint and repairs done between guests.
