The plain-English terms.
Quotes
Quotes are written, itemised and valid for 30 days. Guide prices shown on this website are indicative only; the written quote is what applies. Any change in scope is agreed and priced before it is done.
Payment
Small jobs are invoiced on completion and payable within 7 days by bank transfer or cash. Larger jobs may require a materials deposit, stated on the quote. All prices include GST.
Workmanship
Work is carried out by a trade-qualified carpenter, fully insured, to the relevant Australian Standards. If something we have done fails through our workmanship within 12 months, we come back and put it right.
Materials
Timber is a natural product. Colour variation, minor checking and movement with the seasons are normal and not defects. Exterior timber needs periodic re-oiling; we will tell you how often.
Access and cancellations
Please give us clear access on the day. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a call-out fee. We will always let you know as early as we can if weather stops an outdoor job.
